At the Memphis Crisis Center, they are a listening ear, a compassionate voice—a concerned friend when there’s nowhere else to turn or anyone else to call.
It is a volunteer-powered agency, serving as a free, safe and confidential lifeline for thousands of people in the Mid-South area through nonbiased, 24-hour telephone support. They are an independent agency of the United Way of the Mid-South and a partner with the University of Tennessee Health Science Center.
